Coming from the South

1. Exit M25 at Junction 23 and follow A1(M) north.
2. Leave A1(M) at Junction 4 and follow A414 toward Hertford.
3. As you come into Hertford, you will go over a roundabout, under a railway bridge and past an Esso petrol station on your right.
4. At the next roundabout, turn left and follow A119.
5. At the next roundabout, take the first exit.
6. At the next roundabout, take the first exit. This will take you past Hertford North station.
7. At the next roundabout, take the second exit. Continue following the A119 through the villages of Waterford and Stapleford.
8. About 1 mile after passing through Stapleford, you will come to a roundabout. Take the third exit toward Ware.
9. After about 3 miles, you will come to another roundabout.
10. Take third exit onto the B158 - signposted Bengeo.
11. Take the first right and follow this small country lane for about 400 metres. The road goes past the village pond. Follow it right.
12. Dimmings Cottage will be the first house on the right. We are about 300 metres from the pond.

Coming from the North

1. Exit M1 at Junc 10. Head along Airport Way toward A505 - signposted Hitchin.
2. Continue on A505 past Hitchin and head for the A1(M) - signposted Stevenage.
3. Get onto A1(M) heading south. Exit at Junction 7. Pick up A602 toward Ware.
4. After about 5.7 miles you will come to a roundabout. Take third exit onto the B158 - signposted Bengeo.
5. Take the first right and follow this small country lane for about 400 metres. The road goes past the village pond. Follow it right.
6. Dimmings Cottage will be the first house on the right. We are about 300 metres from the pond.
